Airsoft Replica Handling

Treat your Airsoft Rifle as you would a real firearm
  • Rifle should always be transported in a rifle bag
  • Always have a barrel blocking device/sock on your rifle, until you are ready to use itTHIS IS REQUIRED BY ALL PLAYERS
  • Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction

Eye Protection

All Players and spectators must always wear eye protection, in the form of goggles, masks, shooting glasses or safety glasses. Never remove your eye protection while on the playing field. Sunglasses and prescription glasses are not acceptable safety eye wear. Must meet ANSI-Z87.1. standards.

Game Director/Marshalls

The Game Director and Marshalls have the final say for all field decisions including any conflict issues.

Safe Zones

  • Absolutely no firing of any rifle or pistols in the safe zone
  • Barrel blocking devices must be on Rifles in the safe zone at all times
  • Pistol must remain holstered

Weapon Restrictions

All Airsoft weapons are chronographed with either 0.20 gram, 0.30 gram, 0.40 gram or 0.43 bbs at field discretion.

Joule Limits

Pistols/Shotguns/CQB Style replicas – 0 meters minimum engagement distance / 1.2 joules limit / Green Gas and CO2

SMG/Rifles – 5 meters minimum engagement distance / 1.5 joules limit

True Style DMR Replicas – A true style DMR is a rifle chambered in a heavy calibre e.g. 308. 15 meters minimum engagement distance / Must have magnified optic / Player must carry a secondary / Outer barrel length must be a minimum of 45 cm it may include flash hiders, suppressors and barrel extenders / 2 joules limit (DMR players may not use bang or freeze rule). You may not fire on a Player who is within your MED, you must change to Secondary or not take the shot.

Non True Style DMR Replicas – A non true style DMR is a DMR that matches all of the below requirements but is chambered in a normal assault rifle round (Take note of joule limit below). 15 meters minimum engagement distance / Must have magnified optic / Player must carry a secondary / Outer barrel length must be a minimum of 45 cm it may include flash hiders, suppressors and barrel extenders / 1.8 joules limit (DMR players may not use bang or freeze rule). You may not fire on a Player who is within your MED, you must change to Secondary or not take the shot.

Bolt Action Rifles (Snipers) – 20 meters minimum engagement distance / Player must carry a secondary / 2.3 joules limit (Snipers may not use bang or freeze rule) You may not fire on a Player who is within your MED, you must change to Secondary or not take the shot. NO DELIBERATE HEAD SHOTS WILL BE TOLERATED

LMG/Full Auto Support Replicas – 10 meters minimum engagement distance / 1.5 joules limit **NOTE: SMG, M4 or AK47/74 with Box magazine do not qualify as LMG’s.

Bang/Freeze Rule (Safety Kill)

A 5 meter Bang/Freeze Rule is to be used when a Player feels there may be a safety issue with taking a shot at another player. The Player must be pointing their rifle or pistol at another player and shout either bang or freeze. A safety kill cannot be used on multiple players. A bang kill must be honored as if the shot was taken. Abuse of the Bang Rule will not be tolerated, as it is only to be used as a safety kill.

Code of Conduct

When you come out to play Airsoft, attitude is super important. If you have a bad attitude, you will likely have a bad time. Give other players the benefit of the doubt, and remember we are all out playing Pew-Pew with our friends!

That being said, all of the following carry the penalty of expulsion from the field if violated:

  • Any language that is deemed verbally aggressive I.E. threats, slurs, vulgar gestures, condescending language.
  • Any physical aggression or unwanted physical contact. I. E. striking grabbing, shooting outside of gameplay.

All Players and Visitors are expected to act with integrity and maturity. Anyone who becomes a danger to themselves or the field will be ejected form the facility immediately.
